Climatic chambers, cryogenic equipment, ovens, freezers, refrigerators, used in a pharmaceutical environment require precise monitoring of temperature conditions. The temperature probes generally used allow to follow with a good accuracy the temperatures ranging from -200 ° C. to + 100 ° C.
The most widely used technology today is the combination of a Platinum Resistance Thermometer (PT100) connected to a 4-20 mA current transmitter. However, some less critical applications are using probes with wireless digital transmitters (Radio or WiFi). The latter has the advantage of allowing a simple and quick installation of the measurement infrastructure as well as facilitating the metrology actions.
